Hair dryers and many other electrical devices are now coming with the off position being in the center which may cause a fire if the hair dryer comes back on automatically. Since hair dryers were invented they have had a one-way on and one way off. Now it takes me 3 times the energy to make sure it is solidly off in the center position and I worry that it may pop on again. Electric fans come with the high position first and the low second. This comes about by these items being imported and the people that make them do not use them. This is the same mentality that changed the ATM machines to require a card shark to be quick enough to flash the card in and out before it is rejected by the dumb machine. Gas pumps are all this way now. Why? These people have no mercy or consideration for the handicapped that are literally tortured by such. I see bathrooms still being built with the tiny little turn knob locking devices and wonder at the mentality of those people who build them and install them maybe to save only a nickel. We received a call from someone saying we owe $700 for some weird Internet service that we never had heard of. He agreed to cancel the service but said we still owe $700.00. Not so, we do not owe anything; tell that individual he/she is involved in fraud right away. Be not intimidated to protect your credit, if you pay this extortion you will most likely get dozens calls thereafter claiming you owe many things. The Credit system has failed in this country. I finally got rid of Best Buy and their commercial credit banking fraudulent claim. Kahn Dept Store reported me late when I had never purchased anything or even been into their store. They sent me a voucher to get 10% off a onetime purchase but I will never go in their store. I do not need these people in my life. Learn to do without. Be free of debt.
